Welcome to the first edition of the 2020 TTA monthly newsletter. We hope you all enjoyed your festive break and are now fully back into the swing of things in this new exciting decade. Here are a few of the stories and highlights that took place at the company over the course of 2019.
TTA 2019 Highlights
Brand New Fleet at TTA
In 2019 TTA fully replaced all its training fleet with automatic vehicles. Whilst this was a huge investment for the company to make, it has paid dividends not just in terms of reducing the overall environmental footprint our business is generating, but also in terms of the satisfaction for our learners who now have the ability to train in sophisticated vehicles with up-to-date on-board technology.

Client Testimonial: Jake Hall
Jake Hall is one of our successful candidates from 2019. He came to TTA for warehouse and manual handling training and gained his Cat C and Mod 4 qualifications in December. Jake enjoyed the training and his experience at TTA so much that he’s joining us again later in January to complete his C +E training/qualification. How did Jake find his time at TTA? Well, here’s his thoughts:
“What training did you receive when you first came to TTA?
I did my Counterbalance, Reach and Class 2 (Cat C and Mod 4) training with TTA and I’m about to start my Class 1 (C+E training and test) this month (January).
Did you have a background in logistics before attending TTA?
“No, I didn’t really have a background in logistic work as such, but I managed to get a job in the warehouse at Aldi on the basis of the warehouse training, that is manual handling, Counterbalance and Reach training and qualifications I gained at TTA.”
When did you start work at the warehouse?
“I started in September 2017 and have enjoyed my time there, but I want to do more and challenge myself to a greater degree. So, I’m looking to get driving training and qualifications. Hopefully once I get my C+E qualifications I will be able to do more driving and I think I’ll really enjoy that.”
How did you find the training at TTA and would you recommend it to others looking for further training or reskilling?
“I really enjoyed my time at TTA. I learned a lot and found the experience very satisfying. All the staff were brilliant and really helpful and were there if I needed extra help or support. I can’t thank them enough. They even welcomed in and involved my kids when I came back to visit.”
“My trainer, John [Kendrick], was brilliant. So much so that I’ve asked for him again when I start my C+E training later this month. The training was so good that I’ve had absolutely no problem recommending TTA to others looking for training. I’ve already recommended two people and will do so again if anyone else asks me. They’re great, and the standard and quality of training is excellent.”
