Team TTA is here to help with all your training needs in 2019.

Team TTA would like to wish all its customers, past and present, a very happy 2019. We look forward to working with you all over the coming 12 months and assisting you with your training requirements.

For those of you who have vehicles I am sure you are all too well aware the September deadline for Driver CPC is looming. The EU training directive requires that all professional drivers operating a truck (PCV D1 or LGV C1 and above), must complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years in order to retain their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). The deadline for the second five-year block of training for truck drivers with acquired rights is 9 September 2019, so time is running out.

TTA is able to offer both initial and periodic driver training at its JAUPT-approved training headquarters in Atherton and periodic training can be delivered at customers locations via prior arrangement. The Driver CPC periodic training course last for 7 hours but can be split into two 3.5 hours sessions: however, the second part must start within 24 hours of completion of the first part. Once the module has been successfully completed the driver will be issued with a certificate of attendance and the hours of attendance for Periodic Training will be recorded on the Driver CPC Recording & Evidencing System also known as the R&E System.

If you want to keep your driver CPC up-to-date and to continue to drive professionally, then you must complete your periodic training requirement before this date. Our Driver CPC courses are proving to be very popular and are getting booked up pretty quickly, so to avoid disappointment we would suggest you call TTA on 01942 874 686 or 01282 332098 to check dates and availability as soon as possible.

As well as JAUPT-accredited Driver CPC training, TTA’s team is also able to offer an extensive logistics training portfolio including LGV Licence upgrades (B+E, C1, D1, C1+E, C and C+E), Driver Development programmes, Safe and Fuel-Efficient Driving courses and ADR (Hazchem). We can also offer managerial training courses including DSA LGV Instructor and Transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), and short courses for Manual Handling training, First Aid at Work and Working at Heights. If you’re interested in any of the above-mentioned courses or are considering working towards a career in the logistics sector, then TTA is here to provide the training that will open new doors for you.

For further information on any of these courses, please contact our training team on the above numbers.
