Elizabeth Coupe ‘braves the shave’ for Macmillan Cancer Support

Elizabeth Coupe – Brave the shave

Here’s some good news to kick off 2019. TTA is delighted to announce that Elizabeth Coupe, daughter of TTA Managing Director, David Coupe, successfully managed to ‘Brave the Shave’ for charity. What’s more, not only was Elizabeth successful in her challenge for charity, she also smashed her target and raised nearly £1,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Everyone at TTA is naturally very proud of what Elizabeth has achieved and we salute her bravery and courage. We also think her new hairstyle looks great.

Elizabeth was determined to raise money for this wonderful and noble charity because it is a cause very close to her heart. Members of her own family have been affected by cancer, but sadly not all were lucky to enough to be supported by dedicated Macmillan nurses. So, she decided to raise money for the cause so that others wouldn’t have to face the challenging ordeal alone. She set herself an original target of £500 but manged to attract far more sponsorship than she expected. By the time Elizabeth shaved off her hair on Saturday the 1st of December, the total value of the sponsorship/ donations raised was nearly three times the original target.

Elizabeth was naturally delighted to have raised so much money for Macmillan and would she would like to thank everyone who sponsored her cause. However, it’s not too late to raise money for the charity. If you would like to show your support for the cause, then you can donate through the Macmillan website using the following link: https://www.macmillan.org.uk/get-involved/all-ways-to-help.html
