Elizabeth Coupe ‘braves the shave’ for Macmillan Cancer Support

Have you got any plans for Saturday the 1st of December? Are you planning on doing something courageous and noble that weekend, or will you, like most of us, just be heading down to the shops or going off to watch the match? Well, Elizabeth Coupe, daughter of TTA Managing Director, David Coupe, certainly has big plans for that weekend, and they’re plans that most of us wouldn’t be brave or courageous enough to see through. On the 1st of December Elizabeth will be shaving off all her hair for Macmillan Cancer Support and raising money for this wonderful charity. Everyone at TTA is humbled by her bravery and is very proud of Lizzy.

So why is she doing the Macmillan Brave the Shave? Well, here’s what Elizabeth had to say:

“The reason I’m doing this is because a number of members of my family have been affected by cancer. Not all were lucky enough to be supported by Macmillan nurses, therefore I’ve decided to raise funds to contribute to this most worthy cause in hope that more people will benefit from brilliant work that the Macmillan staff do.”

Elizabeth had planned to raise £500 for the charity, but her fundraising efforts have already attracted donations of over £1,000 –  more than double her original goal. With more than a week to go before ‘Shave Day’ we’re hoping to add to that fundraising total. If you would like to show your support for Elizabeth and Macmillan, you can make a donation through the Macmillan website using the following link:

Good luck Elizabeth and all the very best from everyone here at TTA.
