TTA is delighted to announce that Craig Davenport, has passed Unit 4 of his Business Administration Apprenticeship

Transport Training Academy is a keen supporter of Apprenticeships. We understand that without a new generation of highly trained youngsters coming through the ranks, the logistics industry would struggle to survive. That’s why we put so much time and effort into training our team and supporting, embedding and promoting equality and diversity and safeguarding in all our training.

A couple of months ago we brought you news about one of our most recent apprentices: Craig Davenport. Craig joined Transport Training Academy earlier last summer on a Business Administration Apprenticeship Level 2. Well, we’re pleased to say that Craig is doing brilliantly with his qualification and we are happy to share with you the news that Craig has now successfully managed to pass his Unit 4, and even managed to pass his driving test theory examination at the same time too. We’re delighted with the progress Craig has made in the short time he’s been with us, and we’d like to congratulate him on his achievements.

But how did Craig feel after the passing the latest unit of his apprenticeship? Is he still enjoying himself and has he fully settled in? Well, here’s what he had to say.

Tell us about your latest achievement

“I’ve just passed my Unit 4 on my Apprenticeship. The Unit covered the Principles of Business Document and Information Management. I’m pleased to have passed the unit, but have to say I found it tough.”

“In fact I’ve found the whole apprenticeship tough. It’s been really challenging and difficult to get my head around at times, but I obviously must have got it sorted out in the end because I’ve managed to pass all of my Units so far. I’ve even managed to pass my driving theory examination too, so I must be doing it right I guess.”

How have you coped with the challenges of your Apprenticeship?

“I’ve been helped by both the instructors and the members of the team here. They’re always there to offer help and advice when I’m finding things tough, and they’ve been very supportive and encouraging with me. The more I work here, the more my confidence grows.”

What happens next?

“Well, I’ve completed most of my units, so all that’s left are the observations, where the tutor watches me working and sees that I’m putting all I’ve learned into practice. That final section of my apprenticeship should be completed in November. And after that? Well, we’ll just have to see what happens.”
