November logistics news: what a difference a month makes

What was November like for you and your business? Were you kept busy preparing for the inevitable December rush? Well, Transport Training Academy certainly were. In fact the staff were kept very busy indeed. Still, it wouldn’t be right to complain, as we wouldn’t want it any other way, would we?

So what has one of the North West’s leading training organisations been up to during the last few weeks? Well, plenty of things; but here are just a few of the things that have kept us occupied:

  • The results for the latest Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT) UK Management Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) candidates were fantastic. TTA is delighted to announce a 60 percent first time pass rate, thanks to great training and the hard work and dedication of the candidates.
  • TTA, like many other businesses across the length and breadth of the UK, respectfully joined in the 2 minute silence on 11th November.
  • TTA received brilliant feedback following the CILT (UK) centre audit. As a result of this audit, Transport Training Academy is delighted to confirm that our CILT accreditation stands.
  • TTA is delighted to report that the MATRIX continual development update, the bench mark for Training Providers, went really well.

[The Matrix Standard provides a unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance supporting individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals. The Standard promotes the delivery of high-quality information, advice and guidance by ensuring that organisations review and develop their services, and that they encourage the take-up of professionally-recognised qualifications and the continuous professional development of their staff.]

What will December bring? Well, more of the same if we’re lucky. Some businesses may be winding down in December, but that, we’re glad to say, can’t be said of TTA. We will keep on working until Christmas Eve, supporting, embedding and promoting equality and diversity and safeguarding in all our training. More news on that next month.
